I'm totally a whore for Akismet, it completely solved my spam problem (I get about 10-20 a day here, which is kinda disturbing when I have zero real comments and about 6 posts.) It's magical and amazing, and seems to work even better than my mail filter in figuring out what's crap and what's not - your post got through fine, for example, even with all those spammy-looking links! I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with it, but it seems to do integration with Wordpress too. I'll definitely give it a shot if I give up on Mint and move to Google's stats stuff, though. I am now rather sad that I didn't know of Sandbox earlier. I spent a while looking for a basic theme like that, but never found what I wanted.
